Wire Guard

These little findings look like horseshoes. They are used to protect wire or thread at the end of a beaded piece by encasing the stringing material in a channel.

Simply put your needle through one of the round tube-like ends, over the channel and down though the other tube end and continue beading or finish off your thread.

I put a 22 gauge wire through it easily, and according to my chart, that’s .0253″ (.643mm))
