Size: 4x5mm and 24 gauge wire goes through the tube/channels.

These little findings look like horseshoes.

The are used to protect wire or thread at the end of a beaded piece by encasing the stringing material in a channel.

Simply put your needle through one of the round tube-like ends, over the channel and down though the other tube end and continue beading or finish off your thread.
