Leather Cord Slide Knot Bracelet Tutorial
NOTE: CUT YOUR KNOT LEATHER FIRST if you have purchased a bead pack, so if you need a longer bracelet you have it. Finished bracelet for inspiration.
I thought it would be nice to have a little tutorial available for those who like my 2 hole clay connectors but are not really sure how to use them.
The tutorial is made for 1mm leather cord, 6x9mm roller beads, 6/0 seed beads and one of my handmade clay connectors…all sold in the shop. Of course, any 2 hole connector will work with this design and any beads with Bigger than a 1mm hole.
It’s a simple slide knot design using leather cord to create a slide knot with one side stationary and the other side lets a set of bracelet cords ‘slide’ to loosen the bracelet to put over your hand and tighten to close around your wrist.
Knowledge of making macrame square knots helpful for the clasp, but I have included a link to a YouTube video in the pattern in case you need a refresher.
