Bracelet Tutorial

Beads Used: Czech glass Cali Ovals, seed beads and druk round beads (not included)

This is for pattern only, no materials are included. Full step by step instructions in PDF format. This pattern makes up super fast and will be available in several bead pack colorways.

Linda Genaw from Linda’s Crafty Inspirations tweaked the pattern slightly.  She shared her version of the pattern with me and it is included in the download.  She said: “The pattern shows how to add a button and loop clasp but I opted to use 8/0 seed beads and jump rings on mine.

“Today’s bracelet came out too big for my six inch wrist so I will have to remake it with just five motifs and adjust the length with extra beads and jump rings on the ends. Six motifs will fit a 6 1/2″ to 6 3/4″ wrist depending on the beads that are used.”

Visit Linda’s Blog to find more bead patterns and even recipes!  You’ll stay awhile…

This pattern is for an intermediate beader and has instructions for attaching a button. If you should decided to used an alternate clasp attached with jump rings, I’ve covered that method briefly.

The tutorial requires basic knowledge of beadweaving. YouTube is a fabulous source for learning the basic skills of adding thread, weaving in ends, adding jump rings or wire guards to the ends for clasps, and much more.

There are no instructions for earrings, but just bead one motif, add a few 11/0s to make a little loop and attach an ear wire.

Thanks to all of my partners who make wonderful tutorials so I can make bead packs…and learn to be a better beader in the process.

You may make bracelets from this tutorial to sell, with Claire Lee given credit as the designer. No mass production. Permission required to teach, share or copy this pattern.

Supplies To Satisfy Your Creative Mind

It is important to note that abrasives & chemicals in perfumes & lotions can cause finishes to deteriorate. Don’t wear pieces at times when you may cause damage to these finishes. While sealed for normal wear, man made items (which is mostly what I carry) are not completely waterproof and should not be worn when swimming, hot tubbing or bathing.
